We first traveled to Spain in 2001 to celebrate Yohanna's completion of her Spanish teaching degree and certification. We decided to vist Barcelona, Madrid, and the Costa del Sol. We found Mijas la Nueva purely by chance (a web search) and made a reservation for a week in a villa. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next year intent on finding our own piece of paradise. We purchased Casa del Cielo in 2002 and have loved every minute of it!
